Jon Warren Photography

I am a music and glamour photographer working out of my home studio in Nashville, TN. I have 20+ years total behind the camera, and 4+ years focusing on concert and live event photography as a hobby. I recently branched into glamour, and am looking to work with as many models (or assist other photogs) as possible.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Russian Language. During my 10+ years working at various companies in their IT departments, my career path lead me to the Nashville area. With joining a couple local photography clubs, and the large number of local (cheap/free) music performances, I decided that it was time to follow my passion and make an attempt at making a name for myself in the photographic industry.

Programming is, and will be for quite some time, my "bread-and-butter" industry. My software engineering background has provided me with an appreciation for minute details which is an invaluable asset in photography.

The two industries share more in common than just that they both start with the letter "P". They both bring order to a chaotic situation and in the process create a piece of art -- one with code; one with light.
